As a director, Kyle has had amazing teachers and mentors teaching him skills and tactics in order to become a better leader and director. This show gave me the opportunity to work under the brilliant Rudy Ramirez as an assistant director. Rudy gave me freedom to work with actors one on one as a creative mind and authority in order to help them find what was fun and effective for them. I was able to work heavily on the opening monologue with the two actors cast in the role, finding different yet exciting aspects to their acting for the character.

American La Ronde was my opportunity to show my leadership and my ability to connect with actors. In this show, I produced deep research, concepts, and characters on a stage with actors that truly trusted not only my leadership, but also my ability to collaborate with them, helping them be the best they can be.
